The anti-hate crime charity 17-24-30 NationalHCAW is currently run entirely by volunteers to ensure that as much of the funding we raise goes towards tackling hate crime.

We have a small team of volunteers who meet regularly in South London.

Current Volunteering Opportunities
We are currently looking for regular volunteers to join our Charity Volunteers Team which currently meets on Tuesdays (weekly).
We are looking for volunteers to help us promote our call out for Statements of Support for National Hate Crime Awareness Wek 2024
We are looking for volunteers who identify as LGBT+ to support our LGBT+ Rainbow Boroughs Project (monthly).
We are looking for volunteers to help us steward the Brixton Act of Remembrance on the 17th April (annual event).
We are looking for volunteers to help us steward the Brick Lane Act of Remembrance on the 24th April (annual event).
We are looking for volunteers to help us steward the Soho Act of Remembrance on the 30th April (annual event).

We are hoping to raise funds to employ a part-time worker to support the planning and delivery of our projects.
Our Purple team look after people - signposting hate crime victims to advice and support services and coordinating our volunteers.
Our accounts team help us manage our accounts and organise fundraising events.
Our Silver team deal with the organisations administration and deal with incoming communications.
Our Blue team look after communications, media, and social media.
Our Green team focus on event management and the registration of events. Adding markers to our NationalHCAW Google Maps.
Our Red team focus on resource management, processing resource orders and helping with resources packing and distribution.
We need people who can help us manage our accounts and organise fundraising events.
We need people who can help us with our day to day administration, and carry out research.
We need people to attend community events and activities with our outreach stall.
We need people who can help us plan and deliver a variety of events.
We need people to develop our communications and run social media campaigns.
We need people to help us steward our events to ensure they are safe for everyone attending.
We need people to signpost victims of hate crime to hate crime advice and support services.
We have a private Facebook group for everyone who is interested in our charity's work tackling hate crime across the UK.
We have a private Facebook group for NationalHCAW volunteers past and present - a space to stay connected with each other.
